Cleaning up some old deviations, just so yall know.

There's an old saying, that if you burn a letter to someone who has passed, the smoke will carry its letters to the heavens. I don't know if it's true, but I think I'll try it anyway. When I first got into Kingdom Hearts, I came across this series of videos called Dead Fantasy, needless to say they blew me out of the water. They were so cool, so well animated, couldn't believe it was actually fan work! I watched the Halo vs Samus video shortly after I found out it was made by the same person, Monty Oum. To be honest I didn't think that was your real name at first, it just sounded too badass to be real! Yeah, those videos stuck with me for some time. Jump up about 2 or 3 years later and I find a video on Freddie Wong's channel about Youtube Geek Week. At one point he mentions RWBY, by Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. I was kinda familiar with Rooster Teeth, I had seen a few episodes Red vs Blue in the past, but the mention of Monty Oum, that got my attention. I marathoned all the trailers and episodes, there were only 2 out at the time, and I knew instantly I was hooked. In between the days waiting for new episodes, I started watching RT content again, and forgot just how much I loved everyone there. I recall a podcast where Gavin mentioned being asked who he thought the best looking guy in the office was, and I always made a joke saying "Oh, Monty obviously!" Yeah, I used to think you were pretty sexy with that white hair of yours! Hahaha! I guess what I'm trying to say is, it was really thanks to you that I started watching RT again, so I thank you for that. And every interview, every behind the scenes, every podcast you were apart of, the more I learned about you as a person. How you thought, felt, your annoyances, your virtues. The more I learned, the more you inspired me. RWBY became sort of an obsession of sorts. I made fan characters, wrote fanfiction, the whole lot! And when I got RWBY Vol. 1 on DVD, 80% of the time I watched it was while listening to the directors commentary! I could listen to you, Miles, and Carry talk for hours! I hope Volume 2 has commentary or I will be solely disappointed! I wonder who will take over for Ren now that you're gone...? Now that you're gone... It doesn't sound right... it doesn't feel right either. I hear you didn't suffer, and I hope with all my heart that's true. You once said the future is in creativity, I stand by those words even now. As I cried for half an hour after learning we had lost you, I recalled those words, they gave me solace you can say. I'm going to strive to be a better artist! Whether I'm acting, drawing, or writing I won't give up! Hope you don't mind, but I'll be using that quote of yours my senior year. My name is Sophia Prevost, I'm 17, and you will always inspire me. I wrote a letter to Monty Oum after I heard the news, safe to say it really did help, after I cried for about and hour. It saddens me that I'm never going to get to meet him, even so I will miss him greatly as I'm sure a lot of us will. I hope it stops snowing soon, so I can burn my letter. Again, thank you Monty for everything you've done for me, and everyone else too.
